Unplug The Air Throttle Valve 

The following information is to locate the AITV on a Cummins. The location on the LML is roughly the same place, along the elbow. 

The Air Intake Throttle Valve (AITV) must be unplugged before installing your tunes. 

If you have already installed your tunes and the AITV is connected, no worries. Unplug it, re-flash your tune ( reinstall the tune ) and you should be good to go.

Make sure to "unplug" the intake air throttle valve" or it may stick closed and the truck won't run right or REV up. 

The intake air throttle valve is located on the driver side of the motor underneath the intake by the intercooler pipe. It can be complicated to locate and "unplug" if you have never unplugged one before.

You want to keep the Air intake Throttle valve unplugged indefinitely, do not plug it back in, this will remain unplugged
