BDX SOTF Horse Power Ratings.Updated a year ago

Your BDX tuner will come with 5 different power levels to choose from with the use of the SOTF ( SHIFT ON THE FLY ) switch. 

Here are the power levels ( from turning the switch from left to right ) :

POSITION 1 - Heavy tow 40hp Ideal for daily driving, towing.

POSITION 2 - Light tow 80hp Ideal for daily driving, Light towing.

POSITION 3 - Street MPG 125HP Ideal for daily driving.

POSITION 4 - Street  150HP Ideal for performance applications.

POSITION 5 - RACE 180HP Ideal for performance applications.**

Please note, if you are not wanting to use the SOTF switch, you are not required to. You can load one of the single horse power tunes instead. If you intend on using the shift on the fly feature, make sure you have installed the "SOTF" tune file.

The Shift on the fly feature will only work if 

1. The "SOTF" tune file is loaded 

2. The position switch (SOTF SWITCH) is installed correctly.

**To run the higher +HP tunes, we suggest that you  to have a built transmission, EGT sensor probe with monitor, and an injection pump upgrade. Head studs would also be a recommended upgrade.

These are our suggestions but I would suggest that you also speak to a professional diesel mechanic to get a better overview of the upgrades required for a higher horse power gain.
