EFI LIVE : I made an upgrade to my truck before installUpdated 2 years ago

If you are planning on making modifications to your truck, we kindly ask that you send us some information as requested below so we can accomodate your upgrade

We also require that you inform us of the type of modification you plan to make.

CUMMINS SPECIFIC :

Please note that most bolt-on parts, such as intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds, air intakes, fuel pumps, etc., do not require tuning. However, they do offer some improvement in power, and you should be able to install them without any issues. If you experience any problems, simply reflash the tunes, and it should correct itself. Nevertheless, if you encounter any unusual behaviour after the upgrade, please do not hesitate to contact us via our support form : Create support ticket here

On the other hand, you will need a revised tune file if you have made modifications that require tuning, such as:

  • Turbo (depending on whether it's a drop-in or a bigger turbo, a replacement may not need tuning)

  • Injectors

  • Camshafts

  • Valve springs and retainers

  • Pistons and rods

  • Any internal engine modification

If you have made any of the above upgrades, please provide us with the following information and send it to our support form : Create support ticket here

  • Transmission type (68RFE, AISIN, G56, ALLISON)
