The BDX General Error message “110B8”/"110BD" is a common issue that arrises with these tuners. We have some quick fixes for these. Please check out our two solutions down below!

View everything on this link and ensure everything is in order. If the error is still showing up, move to the next solution.

(2) UPDATE THE DEVICE

This is most likely the fix to your issue, take a look at page 7 of the BDX instructions Here :

Update the device and try again. If the error persists let me know!

This is most likely the issue! The device will just need a firmware update.

Please ensure to do the update via your COMPUTER not on the actual device itself. You will need a windows 10 computer to get this done. The driver does not work on MACS or linux platforms.

If the update is done via the device and not on the device… It wont work. Trust me, get a computer and do it this way.

If the error still persists, try doing the update ONCE MORE. Sometimes the first time does not work.
