What is the E and F tune mean?Updated 2 years ago

When you get your BDX/X4/SCT device, 

you may see in the custom tune section on your device. if you do not know how to view the custom tunes, please simply navigate to "Program Vehicle" On your device and you'll see the custom tunes there.

You may see some tunes which end in "E" or "F". This is more likely with the X4's but all this means is we do not know which transmission you have, we sent both type of transmissions at once and one will work... one wont. The only way to test this is via trail and error. 

let say you installed the HEAVY TOW E tune and are experiencing issues... then you should install the F tune.

let say you installed the HEAVY TOW F tune and are experiencing issues... then you should install the E tune.
