2011-2019 6.7L Powerstroke SOTF Install InformationUpdated 4 months ago
Down below contains all of the available resources / instructions we carry for the Shift On The Fly (SOTF) installation. 
NOTE: You are NOT required to install the SOTF switch if you are not wanting to use the shifting on the fly feature. On the BDX products, if you do not install the SOTF switch, you will be defaulted on the FIRST power level. The same applies on the Ez lynk tuner - however, you have the option to select SINGLE horse power tunes off the Ez lynk if desired.
Please note - the switch you will receive may look a tad different. The picture above has three wires: black, red, purple, however, you will only use 2 out of 3 of the wires for your installation. You may receive a two wire switch.
No matter the variation, the instructions below apply to your installation - the key note is we are connecting the switch in the right location. These switches will connect to your Fuel Temperature Sensor
There are two different types of connections :
Depending on the year of your truck / the switch we have sent you, you will have two different types of connections.
1. utilizes wire splicer connectors
2. Utilizes a plug which fits into the Fuel Temp Sensor
Regardless on the type of switch you received, the 2011-2019 models will only use TWO wires. If you received a switch with THREE wires or more, pay close attention to the instruction sets to know which wire to ignore.
1. Utilizes wire splicer connectors
For these switches, you will be using a positap to splice into the fuel temperature sensor.
Look for the green wire and one green/white (usually white line) wire. Splice into those two. The polarity DOES NOT MATTER.
This also means if you have only TWO WIRES it does NOT matter which colour connects over. You simply have to make sure you are splicing into the green wire and one green/white (usually white line) wire. The colour of the wire of the shift on the fly switch DOES NOT matter.

2. Utilizes a plug which fits into the Fuel Temp Sensor
