BYPASS CABLE INFO

( ONLY 2018+ CUMMINS MODELS)

The Bypass cable is only required on the 2018+ cummins models. This applicable on both 3.0L and 6.7L models that are 2018+.

Please note, if you have the 2018+ model , this step is mandatory otherwise your Ezlynk will not install. The most common issue with the Ez Lynk installation is the bypass cable, if not connected correctly, the tunes will not take and the device will show "no vehicle shown".

Click me for more info on how to install Bypass cable!

Unplug The Air Throttle Valve

On each year model, you will be required to unplug the Air Intake Throttle valve.

Make sure to "unplug" the intake air throttle valve" or it may stick closed and the truck won't run right or REV up. The intake air throttle valve is located on the driver side of the motor underneath the intake by the intercooler pipe. It can be complicated to locate and "unplug" if you have never unplugged one before.

You want to keep the Air intake Throttle valve unplugged indefinitely, do not plug it back in, this will remain unplugged
