Size of EGT Probe for 2010-2024 Cummins EGR KitUpdated 8 months ago

If you look at the blocker plate for the 2010-2024 Cummins EGR kit you will notice a small hole on the plate.

The purpose of that hole is so that you can put an EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) Probe Kit the size of the hole is 1/4 inch NPT male thread 18 threads per inch.

You can replace the hole with your Stock EGT Probe or you can purchase an after market Probe Kit.

If you do not want a Probe Kit or do not care to monitor you EGT's that is okay as well, you can get a screw from a local auto parts store or alternatively you could weld the hole shut if you have the means to do it.
